Dr. Steven Miletto
Steve is the voice/interviewer for Teaching Learning Leading K12. He is in his 30th year of serving public school communities throughout the State of Georgia. He has been a history teacher, assistant principal, and high school principal. He currently is the Executive Director of the Heart of Georgia RESA (Regional Educational Service Agency). In 2009, he was recognized as the GASSP (Georgia Association of Secondary School Principals) Georgia Principal of the Year and in 2010 as one of three finalists for the NASSP (National Association of Secondary School Principals)/MetLife National Principal of the Year. Also, in 2009, he was recognized as a Hero for Social Justice by the Ben Marion Institute for Social Justice and in 2007 he received the Atlanta Braves/AT&T Educator of the Year Award.
His educational training included several colleges, but concluded with his EdD in Educational Leadership from the University of Georgia. He also was trained through the Coalition of Essential Schools, SREB's High Schools That Work, Learning Focused Schools, The CollegeBoard, as well as others.
He is a fan of leadership writers John Maxwell, Patrick Lencioni, Daniel Pink, and Seth Godin. He is an avid podcast follower. He currently listens to several podcast training programs like The Audacity to Podcast with Daniel J. Lewis. Additionally, he is a subscriber to podcasts of many different genres like Every Classroom Matters with Vicki Davis,Teacher Tactics with Colin and Michelle, The Cult of Pedagogy with Jennifer Gonzalez, Social Media Marketing with Michael Stelzner, The EntreLeadership Podcast with Dave Ramsey, The Sell More Books Show with Jim and Bryan, Writer 2.0 with AC Fuller and The Story Grid Podcast with Tim Grahl and Shawn Coyne. Of course, he also listens to some just for fun podcasts like Stuck in te 80's, Zilch! A Monkees Podcast, Atlanta Baseball Talk and The Techno Retro Dads.

David is the Technology Services Coordinator for Heart of Georgia RESA. He has been employed at HGRESA since 1997. Prior to that, he worked in technical support roles with military contracts at Robins ALC. His duties include maintaining the HGRESA network infrastructures, Google Apps Domain for Education, classroom labs and hardware/software support. He also develops and teaches technology-based classes. His favorite task is finding creative (inexpensive) ways to implement technology and implementing open source solutions for education.
In his free time he performs in a local band as bass guitarist. He also likes to mountain bike with his wife and sons, kayak, attend ATV cross-country races that his sons compete in, travel, photography and work on bicycles and motorcycles.
