Keith Senzer - Founder of PowerShift Coaching - Helping Teens and Adults Find Their True North. Thi sis episode 396 of Teaching Learning Leading K12, an audio podcast.
Keith Senzer helps teens find their true north and follow it through their words and actions, to create a more loving, accepting, responsible and committed adult who has the power to ensure their future success and heal our world.
He truly believes this is his purpose and calling!
Keith had wished that Life Coaching was something that was accessible when he was growing up. He was bullied as a teen and to this day believes that he had ADHD which went undiagnosed. This had a tremendous impact on his academic success and in turn his self-confidence.
He struggled to make new friends and was viewed as a snob because he was so shy. His insecurities kept him from connecting with people and recognizing social cues that he should have responded to differently.
Keith has 2 children, one with ADHD and one with Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Nurturing them along with his amazing wife, he taught them to be confident, responsible, empathetic and loving human beings. He woke up one day and realized that he had a bigger purpose than himself.
He sold his successful catering business and he got his coaching certification.
Since 2014 he has dedicated his life to helping teens become the best version of themselves and teaching them to be our future leaders with a goal to heal our world.
Thanks for listening!
Enjoy.

Lynn Jimenez - Founder of Connect Flow Grow - What Stress Is and How to Manage it. This is episode 394 of Teaching Learning Leading K12.
Have you signed up for Lynn's Summer Self Care Event? Learn how to deal with your stress. Go to https://connectflowgrow.mykajabi.com/a/2147490926/CtrL2cFW
Lynn Jimenez is back. You might remember her from episode 354 where we talked about her business Connect-Flow-Grow and working with kids and families with social emotional support.
Today we are talking about Stress and more specifically helping educators deal with it.
Lynn Jimenez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has over 10 years experience as an educator in California. Her school based experience includes working with students in foster care and on probation, supporting school districts in developing trauma informed practices, creating innovative programs to drive state policy change, implementing Restorative Practices, and developing school based substance abuse and mental health programs. As a therapist, Lynn's niche is stress response system activation, which includes daily stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma responses. Her favorite tools to help neutralize the stress response system are 1) nurturing relationships and 2) mindfulness.
Lynn founded Connect Flow Grow to address the growing need for students to have more social emotional support, helping schools partner with parents to develop these skills in the home, so students come to school ready, willing, and able to learn.
Today, We will be talking about stress! What it is and how to manage it. Lynn's expertise is the stress response system and helping people understand what stress is so they can effectively reduce and live more enjoyable lives. This is critical for educators, who as caregivers are already vulnerable to burnout - which is only heightened as we continue to grapple with a global pandemic.
Thanks for listening!
Enjoy.
