Imagine a secret, hidden city that gives a second chance at life for those selected to come: felons, deformed outcasts, those on the fringe of the Outside World. Everyone gets a job, a place to live; but you are bound to the city forever. You can never leave.
Its citizens are ruled by a monstrous figure called the “Man” who resembles a giant demented spider from the lifelike robotic limbs attached to his body. Everyone follows the man blindly, working hard to make their Promised Land stronger, too scared to defy him and be discarded to the Empty Zones.
After ten years as an advertising executive, Graham Weatherend receives an order to test a new client, Pow! Sodas. After one sip of the orange flavor, he becomes addicted, the sodas causing wild mood swings that finally wake him up to the prison he calls reality.
A dynamic mash-up of 1984 meets LOST, ORANGE CITY is a lurid, dystopian first book in a series that will continue with the explosive sequel LEMONWORLD.
According to Raymond A. Villareal, author of A People’s History of the Vampire Uprising...Orange City is...
“A unique dystopian thriller that manages to reveal our greatest fears about emerging technology and our anxieties at what the future holds.”

Daniel Warren Mutschler - the founder of FMInitiative talks about how to save unmotivated students. This is episode 361 of Teaching Learning Leading K12, an audio podcast.
According to Daniel, "I grew up in the pacific north west, I began life after high school with "high aspirations" of becoming a vending machine repair man. Initially, I floundered in the world and was lost . As I struggled with being lazy and directionless I began to appreciate self-determination, meditation, and achievement. With these new appreciations came a new surge in curiosity. I built up my courage and enrolled at a local community college. I knew if I was going to succeed I had to change the habits that resulted in failure before.
For the first time, I did well in school. Building momentum, I transferred to a university where I was a member of the student senate, a research assistant for two professors, and helped lead student clubs. I enjoyed learning so I went on to law school, passed the bar, and became an attorney.
A few years into my legal practice, however, I began to yearn for something more. I yearned for a deeper understanding of myself, and humanity as a whole. I became fascinated with the religions of the world and spent time studying each of them along with other obscure and rare books. I've been to over 70 faith centers (places of worship). I've lived in places like Seattle, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Las Angeles, Miami, and spent a month deep in the Peruvian Amazon Jungle.
I also make conceptual art regularly, mostly from digital tools but also painting. Some of the conceptual art I create is integrated into the Full Metal Intensive because I believe in utilizing different methods in teaching. Conveying lessons in visual form can be very powerful, and develops human perception.
I have been a meditator throughout this journey which I believe to be very important to my success.
I now teach the potent techniques that helped me get up from rock bottom and fully actualize. The Full Metal Intensive Leadership Seminar seeks to engage all the senses using audio, music, conceptual art and one on one sessions to develop positive beliefs and rebuild your core, generate personal motivation to take action, and strengthen crucial decision making. A fully actualized leader vitalized from the Full Metal Intensive fully engages the world with their heart, their expression, their perception, and their mind."
