Steven Greene - The Success Doctor - is an author, educator, and founder of Make the Grade, a tutoring/education/training company. A lifelong educator, Dr. Greene holds teaching certification in comprehensive science and has taught math and science at the middle school, high school (public and independent) and university level.
Over the past 23 years, Steven has worked with over 11,000 students and their families. He has also worked with entrepreneurs where he helped them achieve personal success and assisted them in reaching their personal goals.
Make The Grade provides individualized support for students and their families and specializes in all areas of math, science, and test preparation (SAT/ACT). His program also assists with the college admissions process, study skills, and time management.
In addition, Steven is the author of the book, “Maximum Education: The Ultimate Guide to Reaching Your Academic Goals."
His personal interests include music (playing the guitar and piano and composing original music) as well as martial arts where he is earning a black belt in tae kwon do.
Dr. Greene continues to work with students full time, face to face, in his office, and all over the US and internationally using an online-based classroom.

Cynthia has extensive experience homeschooling and interpreting in the classroom settings at primary, secondary, and post-secondary levels and is dedicated to providing ASL teaching resources to schools and families across the US.

Meg Medina is an award-winning and New York Times best-selling author who writes picture books, as well as middle grade and young adult fiction. Her 2018 book Merci Suárez Changes Gears, is a 2019 John Newbery Medal winner, and a 2019 Charlotte Huck Honor Book.
Today, Meg is sharing a summer reading list for kids. Listen as she shares picture books, chapter books, middle grade, and young adult titles. As Meg says, summer is a great time to encourage reading. You'll hear her passion for getting kids reading as she shares her selections.
When she’s not writing, Meg works on community projects that support girls, Latino youth, and/or literacy. She serves on the National Board of Advisors for the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and is a faculty member of Hamline University’s Masters of Fine Arts in Children’s Literature. She lives with her family in Richmond, Virginia.

Madeline Whitaker Good and Katherine Whitaker are the authors of Your First Year: How to Survive and Thrive as a New Teacher (2016, Taylor & Francis; A Routledge Eye on Education Book) The book is co-written with their father Todd Whitaker. Your First Year focuses on the skills and mindsets needed to be successful during your first year in school. Madeline and Katherine wrote the book while they were in their first year of teaching.
Madeline Whitaker Good is currently a middle school math teacher in Springfield, Missouri. Prior to moving to middle school, Madeline was an elementary school teacher in two different school districts. She graduated from the Peabody College of Education at Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and Child Studies. She received the Dorothy J. Skeel Award for Outstanding Professional Promise in Elementary Education. She completed her Master of Education Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri at Columbia as well as her elementary and secondary principal certification.
Katherine Whitaker is currently a high school math teacher in Kansas City, Missouri, She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of Missouri. Her first three years in the classroom were spent at the middle school level teaching math, algebra, and reading. She has taught Algebra A, Algebra I, and Algebra II Honors at the high school level. Katherine graduated with her Master of Science in Educational Leadership K-12 from Northwest Missouri State University.
Together they also co-authored the best selling book Classroom Management from the Ground Up (2019) with their father Todd Whitaker.

Today we're catching up with Rick Snyder the author of Decisive Intuition: Use your gut instincts to make smart business decisions (Career Press, 2019). You may remember that we last talked with Rick on episode 238 as Decisive Intuition was about to be released. He has had a successful book launch and so I thought that it would be fun catching up with him.
Rick Snyder is the founder and CEO of Invisible Edge, an international consulting firm that builds high-performance environments in major, mid-size and emerging businesses.
He leads the Invisible Edge coaches in training companies and teams to build intuitive skills and translate them into business plans and company cultures that result in more effective communication, engagement, profitability, and innovative success.
His breakthrough strategies have been implemented by executives and businesses in Europe, Canada, Asia, Africa, and America. Rick holds an MA in Psychology and has previously worked in the healthcare, tourism and travel, and training spaces.
He has launched four businesses and travels extensively between California and Europe for work and leisure, and to help people access their intuitive skills for decision-making on a global scale.
